Traveling through town to see family and I looked on Yelp to see where to eat. I was surprised to see a place in Wister with great reviews so we stopped to try it out-so good!!! The service was good, the food was pretty quick, the queso was great! If you are near Wister, OK, go check it out!

Si Senor has some of the best food around. Their service is always fantastic as well! Even when you're just calling in and picking up an order, they're always very nice and helpful. They even have a drive through window to pick up your food on the go, just call ahead and drive on in! The restaurant is very clean, bathrooms are clean and it's so pleasant to sit down and enjoy a great meal with family or friends there.

We were pleasantly surprised. We stopped here from out of town and it was very good. Staff were friendly and service was good. We went at lunch and they have great lunch specials. I had a taco enchilada plate with charro beans and everything was really good. Loved their beans. My spouse got beef fajitas and she wasn't a fan, but our friend got chicken and did, but the chips and salsa and queso were very good. Decor was cute and restaurant was clean. We're moving to the area from TX and we're very happy to find a nice Mexican restaurant in town, because that is always our go to at home.

I always order a chorizo poblano stuffed pepper covered in queso on a bed of rice, and it's delicious. On Sunday's I order the chicken soup, which is also delicious. If you are sensitive to spicy things, the chicken soup might not be for you because there are dried jalapeños in it. This place has a special almost every day and the staff is kind and attentive. We eat here very often and have made friends with some of the servers. Food prices are not high and makes for perfect lunch/dinner plans. Definitely a little jewel in the tiny town of Wister OK.

The chicken fajitas are fantastic here. We have been several times and I always think I will try something else, but I love the fajitas so much I keep ordering them. The chips and salsa are great too. Service is attentive and quick. Nice decor. We usually take friends here when we have visitors in from out of town.

Everything we ate was really good, and the Lunch Fajita Special was a fantastic bargain @ $7! My Combo Plate had 2 Chicken Enchiladas & a Beef Taco - tasty and just the right amount to fill me up! Refried Beans were smooth and fresh, and the Salsa was on point! Highly recommended!

We visit Poteau often to see my in-laws. This place is my favorite restaurant in town. We often come here after Sunday church and they always fit us in. Their staff is kind and knowledgeable. My husband gets their pork street tacos and loves them. I usually get their chicken enchiladas. We enjoy their chips and queso before hand. Very yummy. We like the time to catch up and enjoy their good food. We enjoy supporting their business. I do not recommend their sopapillas, however. The last one I had was merely fried dough & butter & honey. Missing the sugar & cinnamon. I didn't finish it. However we will always be back!

I added the restaurant to Yelp so folks can find it who are visiting or don't know where it is. Well worth the short drive from Poteau or other surrounding areas. Fernando, Pablo and the rest of the crew are always upbeat and willing to go above and beyond to create a wonderful dining experience. If there's an issue, they go well out of their way to make it right. I've been friends with Fernando a long time and feel I can always offer up constructive criticism or quiet feedback which he welcomes in order to help provide even better service and quality to the next patron. He is open to what helps him helps others. Formerly the longtime staple, Wister Food Market, they have extensively and tastefully remodeled it for restaurant atmosphere. It is a large open dining area with just enough half-walls to create a semi-private and quiet area for couples or small families. There is also plenty of room to slide tables and make room for large parties. Get out and visit these fine folks. Help support their dream of a successful small business in Small Town, America! If you're a local, you may recognize some of the menu options, but I think they're served in a superior way. I'm always a fan of the steak chimichanga. Often, my wife and I split the Chicken Fajita Nachos. They are excellent done-in or carry out. Even the street tacos are top notch. We are headed there tonight for my birthday.
